For me, as a professional pianist, the most important aspect of tone production, aside from the use of the pedal, is relative amplitude, not only when tones are struck simultaneously, but also when struck consecutively (see Dichler). So piano touch must guarantee complete control over tone strength. Precision Touch Design does just that, in pianissimo as well. What you do is what you hear.
